Between us we’ve been busy of late, hence the lack of posts. However, we’ve both been busy separately on flashandzoom as well…
Here’s one of the most recent collaborations – taken on a trip we both took to Brighton last year, we took a walk down the pier before heading off to a comedy show.
Just recently I’ve been working with instant film – both with my Polaroid and my Fuji Instax camera. Sadly Polaroid film is so expensive right now, so I’ve been mostly using the Fuji for now. I’ve been carrying it around with me almost everywhere, taking shots of things that catch my eye. This is one of the first images I took with the new batch of film, and Zoe has come up with some words that felt apt to accompany it.
Haiku are short Japanese poems of 17 syllables which are supposed to wrap up a big idea in a small package, which I think suits a polaroid. So…

Breathe in the colours
Of letterbox spring: this love
Deserves a letter.
